Credit Controller

Julie joined our team in October 2007 as a credit controller after recently moving to the area. She came to us with a wealth of experience in credit management, dealing with multiple sales ledgers and managing teams of credit controllers in multi-million pound companies.

Likes: Having a chef for a husband, family, reading, living in the country, honesty.

Dislikes: Red tape, automated phone systems, high maintenance people, queues, dishonesty.

Zenna was our first employee and is now very much part of the furniture. She brought us a huge amount of knowledge and experience in credit management. Zenna has dealt extensively with the legal and insolvency industries and, in the current climate, this expertise is proving invaluable.

Likes: Family, food, listening, making people laugh, the odd tipple, wine gums!

Dislikes: Dishonesty and deviousness, cruelty, rudeness, taking advantage, selfishness, flying.

Roger joined us in June 2008 direct from the construction industry. He has brought his years of hands on experience in residential/commercial builds and applied this to the collection of this type of debt. Roger’s knowledge of sub-contractor workings/contracts and dealings with QS/Valuers has brought excellent results for our construction clients.

Likes: Trains, planes, meteorology, family, lard!!

Dislikes: Salmon, bad table manners, bad service.

Deb joined the company in October 2007 as a credit controller, with an extensive career in collections and fraud prevention. Deb brought with her a 'nose' for knowing when things don't really add up, and prides herself on getting to the route of the problem and producing a successful outcome for her clients.

Likes: Cheese and onion crisps, lager, Aston Villa (winning), Formula One and marmite.

Dislikes: People not returning her calls, Aston Villa (losing), beetroot and celery (it is the devil's vegetable).

Sharon joined Inksmoor in February 2008 as a trainee credit controller. She came to the company with a number of years experience in customer services within the retail/service industries. Sharon was trained in-house and quickly established herself as an integral part of the Inksmoor team. She was promoted to Credit Controller and given her own portfolio of clients in October 2008 and continues to flourish.

Likes: Family time, baking/cooking, reading, any rum-based drink.

Dislikes: Bad table manners, queue jumpers, bad driving, falseness, cruelty.

Jacki joined the Inksmoor family as a credit controller in January 2008 after spending a number of years in credit management for a £500m company. She ran the credit department there, including responsibility for multi-million pound direct debit receipts.

Jacki quickly experienced the difference in working for a small company rather than the one she was used to, but has thrived within the team and is a firm favourite amongst her peers.

Likes: Travelling, sixties music, animals, history, people who are organised.

Dislikes: Cruelty, the smell of fish, boredom, people who are not organised.

Inksmoor found a real gem in Dawn and we kind of poached her in March 2008! Dawn has lived up to expectations and is one of the hardest working, most conscientious and organised members of our team. She has a number of years’ experience in sales ledger and credit management, and has used this experience to her clients’ benefit. Dawn has had some excellent comments from her clients as a result of this.

Likes: Bright clear days, walking at the seaside, mountains of NW Scotland, Sunday lunch.

Dislikes: Miserable and unhelpful people, road hogs, furniture adverts on television, clutter.

Caitriona (or Trina as she prefers to be known) joined Inksmoor in June 2008 after making a speculative call to Sarah one evening - her timing and experience were perfect. Trina has enjoyed a variety of roles in sales ledger and credit control for multi-million pound companies. She has utilised this experience well and produces excellent results for her clients (we think it is the Irish charm that does it!). Trina continues to be an integral part of our team.

Likes: Dogs, cooking, shopping, reading, eating out and parties.

Dislikes: Cats, housework, gardening and rudeness.

Cheryl joined Inksmoor in November 2008, after the firm she had worked for 25 years, as a credit controller, went into administration. Inksmoor were instructed by the administrators to collect the book debts of this company, so Cheryl joined our team to do this, and her knowledge of the industry proved invaluable. She quickly proved her ability and is now a permanent member of our team.

Likes: Walking, food (any kind), drink (any kind with alcohol), clothes, exercise (because of the food), music and reading.

Dislikes: Early mornings, dieting, miserable people, camping, not having big boobs!!!

Sarah is our newest arrival and has gained experience in collections in the public sector. She has now moved to work with Inksmoor to gain more commercial experience. Sarah is AAT2 qualified and will be working toward her AAT3. She will also be working within debt recovery.

Likes: Rose wine, marshmallows! All things PURPLE! People who don’t take themselves too seriously, handbags, dancing with my girlies.

Dislikes: Gherkins, people who contradict themselves, being on a constant diet! Creepy crawlies.
